Will applestore exchange?

I have light leaks all down the left side of the screen and one dead pixel. Should I take of back? They are both really bothering me

That is a defect, you should be able to get a new(hopefully not refurbished) one.

well they did exchange it. I got one out of a plain white box. The guy did say that they don't exchange them for dead pixels, but he exhanged mine for the other problems. The new one seems good. The home button feels wierd.

I wonder if they will exchange for 2 hairline cracks on the screen. They seem to be getting larger and larger as time goes by.

Sounds like he could have received "a replacement 3G iPhone" since we don't really know if they've gone through all the replacement 3G iPhones (which are actually NIB, just not the box that we bought when our iPhones were brand new)...
