will AT&T iPhone 4 apps work on the verizon model?

my girlfriend has AT&T and is planning to switch over to verizon with me but she is worried that she will lose all her apps. i told her that as long as the apps release an update to be compatible with the new iOS that the verizon phone will use, then she will be fine. to be honest im not sure if thats true but i really wanted her to stop bugging me and worrying about it. any info would be appreciated.

Yes, she will be able to use her apps purchased from the app store on either cdma or GSM device.

Correct. But then any Verizon apps, assuming they come out with some (VCast most likely) won't work on anyone else's network.
