Will AT&T recognize my original sim card without unlocking?

Basically I plan on getting a 3g iphone soon, but since I'm already with AT&T do I just simply slide in my sim card without having to unlock it? Or do I have to jailbreak and unlock the phone? I plan to keep the phone as legit as possible. Thanks

Just slide your SIM in. As long as you have a 3G SIM card it will work! It's as easy as that.
