I've asked this multiple times in the Jobs thread, but with it mostly being full of new users complaining, a seperate thread may be better.
For those people who are complaining about the signal loss and how they can't use the phone, they should return it. Speak with your wallets. But if you are to do this will you still be stuck in an AT&T contract? Would you only be offered a choice between their phones?
If that is the case, then I can see the complaints, though I understand complaining regardless since Jobs' reply to the problem is quite "unpopular". They, somewhat, rope you in with this new phone which doesn't work properly and you are stuck in a carrier you do not want with, let's be honest, a crap selection outside of the iPhone.
