Hi folks, apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question.

Currently on an old Nation 700 family plan with both lines on unlimited data. My line's contract just expired, my wife's expires Oct next year.

We'd like to ditch ATT completely and switch to T-Mobile. I know ATT is motivated to get people off unlimited, is there any trick to get them waive our ETF, or somehow clear out her contract and go month-to-month? I tried hinting around this at a carrier store, but they didn't seem interested.

Thanks in advance.

Nope. You are stuck. The only option you had was back in Feb when they increased the cost of unlimited. They allowed anyone not happy with the increase to leave AT&T without an ETF.

Only thing you can do is try to get TMO to pay the ETF depending on what promos they are offering.
