I purchased a 16g black 3gs on the 10th from a att store. After thinking about it, I might need more space(didnt take video into account) and I also think I want white. So I was wondering if you guys knew what att's policy will be on the release date? Can I just return my 16gig for a 32g white one and pay the extra at 7am when I get up there?

I'm guessing that's a no, due to the product just being released and pre-orders already being sold out.
Wait a couple weeks (return period), then go in and ask for an exchange.

I think you have 30 days to return.
Online pre-orders are sold out. Stores will have them in stock, but you'll probably have to wait in line on day one.

if you ordered in the store
you have a chance to get it changed, but got to the store and talk too them or call if it was bought online it's near impossible. trust me I made about 10 calls to various people in different departments including supervisors and tried at a store with no luck. one person though was some how able too here. basically you have to send it back too AT&T wait for a refund and a new phone to be issued pain in the A$$.
