Will Att Unlocked Phone Still Work on ATT?

In preparing to sell my iPhone 4 I am going to unlock it through ATT. I assume it will still work until I activate the new phone, Correct?

Yes it will still work. Unlocking means no software restrictions are in place any longer to keep it from working on a carrier. So it will still work fine on AT&T.
