I didn't pre-order as I didn't anticipate getting one, but I may have changed my mind. If I want to get a 16gb wifi model, what are the chances I could get one Friday morning at Best Buy? What time would you line up?

Depends on your area/ distance to largest urban center. New York, New York is going to differ from, say, Danville, Virginia.

I don't know how helpful this is, but I would be getting it from an eastern Connecticut location.
