Will canon fs10 import into imovie '09

Hey there,
I am going to get a new mac mini tomorow and i have a wonderful canon FS10.
Whenever I use it on my pc it is reading as .mov and i have heard from many that .mov is not read, and my cam is supossed to be reading as mpeg 2. i have no idea please help.

It's on the LIST of compatible cameras so I assume you'll be OK.

yes, it will be easier to take out the Memory card and connect it to your mini, open imovie and a window should pop up so you could import your clips, if not go to file and import from camera then it will be fine. get card reader if you dont have one.

Once again, my camera keeps compressing its video to .mov files.
I guess my question pretty much is,
DOES MAC READ .MOV FILES?
