Something I don't think case makers have anticipated is the new swipe up gesture that will be critical for the new iPhone X. With no bezel on the bottom I think this might cause a problem.

Thoughts?

Prossibly, but unlikely. The app switching 3D Touch gesture is quite difficult on the edge of a screen in iOS 10 with a case.

However in this case, there's more reserved room for the gesture area. Apple's app guidelines have the "safe space" for apps start well above the bottom of the screen. It's also the most important gesture on the system so I'm sure a lot of effort went into making it work well even with a case.
 
That was my thought. The cases apple makes for the X don't have case material in that critical area.
