Will custom backplates fit the Verizon iPhone???

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue. I googled it but it didn't turn up anything. I have a custom backplate for my iPhone 4... its the brushed metal one that was featured on a few of the iphone/gadget blogs a while back. It fit my At&t model just fine. But I'm unable to install it on the new Verizon iPhone. It seems like the clip on the back top right corner is hitting something. Is anyone else having this problem or come up with a solution they can share? Thanks!

ifixit.com discovered that the back plates are different between the at&t and verizon iphone's. they are not interchangable.

i guess we will have to wait for manufacturer's to create verizon versions.
