will developers release ipad-esque designs to their apps for 6+ users?

Subject says it all. I personally have a 6+ and would LOVE to get rid of my ipad. But I do miss a lot of the design layouts apps have on the ipad.

For example, Landscape mode on Gmail is great on iPad, doesn't really exist on 6+.

If devs aren't on board with this, I feel I wasted money buying the 6+
