Will FCP ever be ported to Cocoa?

I was just reading about the big changes Apple made with 10.6, such as trashing support for Carbon, and was wondering: being one of their oldest (and certainly one of the most utilized) applications, will Final Cut Pro ever be re-written for Cocoa?

And, if not, will there potentially be more bugs using it with Snow Leopard than on, say, Tiger?
