Will Game Center allow us to save our game scores when, say, changing iDevices?

Scored nearly a billion on Trism. Upgraded to iPhone 4. Re-installed Trism from the last back-up. No record of me playing whatsoever. What the hell?!

That would be a good feature.
Save game progress even after you setup your device as new for example.

Steam does that, and it would be a great idea for apple to do. I hate loosing my Doodle Jump scores every time I restore
