Will games and icons really be bigger on the new iPad?

I went from a Motorola Atrix 4G 540X960 and to an Galaxy Nexus to 720X1280 resolution I can fit less widgets on the screen.
Though more of the web is visible.

Though more of the web is visible.

When compared to the icons on the iPad 2, the new iPad will have icons that are "physically" the same size, just crisper looking.
