After hearing of the Argos thing, my friend went into Tesco at 1.AM Saturday night...he convinced the guy that the release date had been pushed back, and got the game! He says its awesome, but I've yet to play it...
My claim-to-fame was when San Andreas was delivered a day early to my house...I invited my friends round for an all-night-GTA-frenzy...we even thought of going to the midnight queue to take it back, just to see the looks on people's faces...

. I've been playing it since last night, and it's pretty bad ass. I never got into halo, or halo 2, so I'm not being biased, but this is definately a must have game if you have a 360.

It's quite amazing what people would pay when they really want something. As I said in that FS thread, the store owner got them about 2 weeks ago, and he told me he sold them easily, about 40 copies, on craigslist for $100. Im thinking if no-1 buys this in the next 3 hours, I'm going to drive by an ebgames and just sell it for face value to someone in line. I'm sure they'll be happy.
Forget all that LE, CE stuff....I'll just pick up the cheapest and play multi player until the jerks become standard again. I really can't see myself spending $100+ on this game or like I did with the tin halo 2 box...it was worthless to me...I didn't watch the extras and the extra book wasn't all that.
I took a walk into my local shop today and the guy told me he has one for me and ask me if I'm picking it up now.....I told him tomorrow.
He's trying to sell me the LE with $15 off....still don't want it.

I work at Radioshack, and we got about 30 copies in of the standard, and 4 of the limited. (No legendarys FTL)
Check your local Radioshacks.

hm the local gamestore (who has an online store) got 160 _legendary_ editions and still had 100 left on friday for order
they got so many halo 3 alltogether that they actually had to put the huge boxes onto the showroom floor

i tried to get my copy today, but there were no standard editions, and i didn't want to pay for a collectors edition.
well i just found it on ebay for cheaper then retail including shipping. In total i will be saving 16$. So i'm happy.
well on my way home from work, i had to get gas, so i decided to get gas at walmart and while i was there, get the game also. they had tons. took 1 minute to buy it
