Will Homepod play songs from Itunes Match?

I have many tracks in my local iTunes library I ripped from DVD's.

If I subscribe to iTunes Match, and they get uploaded, will HomePod play these?

I have meaning to do this for sometime, at this point curious if its worth it.

I doubt I would get enough use out of apple music to make it worth it, but an annual $24 subscription to itunes match seems worth it, if I can get everything organized.
