I pre-ordered the iPhone 6, but I may be interested in the Plus model. Would it be possible to go to the Apple Store to exchange it and pay the difference in price to get the Plus model even after I have open the package up and used my iPhone 6?
Apple doesn't do exchanges, just refunds. You would get a full refund on your order if it's within 14 days and then you would be able to purchase a new device.
Thats not true. Within 14 days the OP can return a device to Apple and exchange it for something else. I've done it before.

Perhaps they will exchange though.Note: An iPhone purchased on the Apple Online Store is ineligible for return to an Apple Retail Store.
I doubt you'll be able to go from a 6 to a 6+, but you'd probably be able to exchange a 6+ for a 6 within the 14-day window. There appears to be tremendously more stock of the 6 right now.
Why wouldn't I be able to go from 6 to 6+. It should be the same shouldn't it?

I see, well is it possible to change my order? I already pre-ordered the iPhone 6. :/
Well I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 on the day it first became available, however i'm on a trip for 3 weeks and won't be back until Oct 3rd, will I still be able to return my iPhone 6 at an Apple Retail store and get an iPhone 6+? The box isn't open or anything. So does the 14 day rule still apply to unopened items?
