Will I be able to restore my iOS 8 GM backup onto my new iPhone 6?

I know they're both the same build but I just wanted to check if I was possibly going to run into any problems. Thanks in advance!

Your new phone comes with IOS 8 already installed.

If you have already backed up your older phone all you need to do is restore from that backup.

A backup does not install the OS just the files on it.

That's what I meant, thanks. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be a conflict between them.
