Will I be able to upgrade to iOS 5?

I jail broke via jailbreakme.com. Now that that's dead will I be able to upgrade to iOS 5 and keep my jailbreak?

As with any jailbreak (since it is software based), it will go away with any upgrade. Can you upgrade? yes....will you keep your JB? no.

When there is a new jb for 5.0 u will be able to then jb it on that firmware.
And you can download and install purchased jb apps for free.

Thanks. Once iOS 5 comes out there's only like three things I will still need from the JB community.

Perhaps by iOS 6 or 7 you could be jailbraeak-free?
