I aim to play 1080p x264s in mkv container in Plex or VLC.
Will I benefit from the graphics card in MBP, if not I was just going to get a MB. I hear Plex makes no use of the graphics card... so there is no point, right?

Just a tought, Snow Leopard may be able to help QT to utilise it?
But then it can use the Nvidia integrated GPU in the MB too?
