I went to Circuit City this morning hoping to get one or two of these 512MB cards for $9 each. I wasn't early enough and they were all sold out. Do you think I'll find as good a deal as that anytime between now and christmas??

I dunno... but this was one of those 6 hour sales. I was there within the 6 hours, but they were sold out. It was madness at Circuit City this morning, let me tell you...

Yea i was at circuit city....the line to get in was the length of two football fields.(no joke). I ran in there and grabbed my 512 Sandisk Pro Duo for $19.99 for my PSP. Im so happy. There were a lot of the 512 cards for $9 by me. Everyone was going for that $199 laptop.

No. It's a loss leader, they lose money on every card but bring crowds of people into the store (like you ) who don't get the card but may buy other stuff.
Nobody's going to price match that, because the sale is over and its unavailable.

that 200 dollar laptop is a great deal, until you realize you have to sign up for twelve months of a-o-hell at 24 dollars a month to get it. that's an extra 288 dollars, putting it at $500--not such an amazing deal. i also picked up one of those 512mb memory stick duos. that's a great deal, even though it'd be nice to have a 1gb card!
