Will I have to have Lion to run the upcoming IOS5 and be able to sync with the Cloud on my desktop running Snow Leopard, iPhone and 2 iPads?

I don't think so. I was under the impression that iOS5 is PC free so upgrades should happen automatically. Correct me if I'm wrong though...
