will i have to restore my unlocked phone when switching syncing from mac to pc?

I use macs, and I am selling my old 3g phone. I unlocked it using ultrasnow on my mac. My question is, is if the person I sell the phone to has a pc, will they have to restore the phone, taking out the ultrasnow unlock? I plan on warning them not to restore/update their phone after I sell it to them.

They would have to do it whether it is Mac -> Mac or Mac -> PC.
You could always include a guide on how to JB and unlock with the phone.
