Hey.

Apple just got back to me. It's gonna cost me £180 for a new Mac Mini logic board.

I wanna know, if their will be any hard drive damage or data loss during this repair.
I know there is a possibility of accidental hard drive damage caused by the technicians. But will i lose data because of a new logic board?

thanks.

Nope, the logic board contains nothing of that sort.

You shouldn't, I had the logic board in my MacBook replaced 3 times (all under Applecare) and my hard drive remained fine. But that's me, I can't guarantee that but can at least speak on having a similar repair.
