My wife takes different photos on her iPhone and iPad which are both synced to iCloud. She wants to get her photos on her iMac ( where Photos wasn’t syniced to iCloud) . She hasn’t really used Photos on the Mac often.
I had suggested syncing everything to iCloud. Each device has a different set of photos. When she activated iCloud for photos on the iMac it started to upload all the photos on the iMac to iCloud. Will these overwrite the photos on the other devices ? Is there a way that all the photos, on all devices, will be upLoaded to iCloud - therefore viewable on all devices ?

Hi @Tajhad - the photos that are synced from the Mac will be added to those on the other devices and will not overwrite or otherwise remove them. Changes made to an image on one device will appear on all devices.
