I currently have a 15.4 inch Dell notebook with a 1280 X 800 resolution display, and I was wondering if the screen will seem a lot smaller on the MacBook even though it has the same resolution?

Obviously. I'm just wondering if it's going to seem a lot different or similar because they have the same resolution.

it will be lighter:)
seriously? what do you use your laptop for?
I used to have a revA Macbook,I really don't want a Pro,no matter the price, I'm a student, I would carry it all over the place with me,watch movies and browse the interwebs, read stuff with it on my lap in bed and such.
You can always get it closer to you..

I came from a Dell with a 15.4" screen, and yes the MacBook screen will seem a lot smaller at first, but you'll quickly get used it. The smaller screen is still very usable, and I much prefer the smaller footprint/weight of the macbook.
