Will I use my apps when I upgrade?

I have a JB iPad2. I will likely wait until a jailbreak before upgrading to iOS5.

When I do finally upgrade, I assume I will lose my Cydia-installed apps - which I will have to re-install once I jb. Will I also lose my Installous-installed apps?

Is there any way to back up either the Cydia or Installous-installed apps to avoid having to download each again?
