Will iLife 06 be discounted? or available after 07 ships?

I have 1 computer updated to iLife 06 - and never did my laptop since I wasn't using the apps.

But, i'd like to upgrade it now that DD is using the laptop, but i'm not sure when i'd be able to order it. WOuld I still be able to GET 06 if 07 starts shipping?

I'd like to keep the 2 computers the same for ease of management, but the laptop isn't exactly a Powerhouse, and probably won't get upgraded to Leopard, so 06 should be fine.

SOOO, historically - will someone be selling 06 at a "clearance" price??

You won't find them at Apple stores. Not sure compusa will still have them either. MacMall and MacZone and even Amazon may still have them. And of course eBay will have them. Anyone that still has them will discount it, and eBay will be the best price.

I need to order Tiger too for the laptop - it's not THAT painful at Edu prices i get.

I'm just not "ready" to buy software from eBay

And besides, you never know what might JUMP into my cart while there!
