Hi all,

I like iPhoto but the rest of iLife isn't much use to me. I'd like to get the upgrade to iPhoto '08 but I don't want to pay the $80 since I don't need the rest of the apps.

I will be upgrading to Leopard, tho. Do you think there's a chance iLife '08 will come free with Leopard?

iLife only comes free with a new machine, and not the standalone software upgrade for OS X. If it did, then the current version of Tiger would also come with iLife - highly improbable that it would come with the Leopard disc.

no. iLife is a separate suite of apps that does not come bundled with OS X. it only comes bundled with a new computer.

I bought a new computer in December (of '08), and received iLife in the bundle. But the thing is, I've seen iMovie in iLife, and it looks different from the iMovie I have. For an example, if I wanted to make the title in an iMovie zoom, I can't, but the iLife that you have to buy, can. :apple:

You have iLife '08. You've probably seen iLife '09.
