I hate the all new iMovie and all the other "updated" apps that come standard with new Macs that have poor user reviews.. So if I purchase a iLife '11 DVD on ebay will those older apps install and run on my new late 2013 Macbook Pro with 10.9.2? Thanks.

Will iLife '11 Apps install and run on a new Mavericks Mac?

I was running iLife 11 on my 2007 iMac that was running Snow Leopard. Upgraded and now running Mavericks 10.9.2 and everything runs fine. I don't use the applications much other than iPhoto and iDVD (no problems at all) but they are a bit sluggish when opening every now and then but once open they are good. There were updates in the App Store for several iLife applications when I first installed Mavericks but once they were downloaded whenever I do use a program things run smoothly .
