Will iOS 16 still support iPhones with physical SIM slots/cards?

Does iOS 16 still support physical SIM cards or does it only require eSIM?

IOS 16 does not require the use of eSIM. Your device will operate with IOS 16.

Yes of course. iOS 16 is compatible with devices as old as the SE and 8/8 Plus which don’t have esim at all.

Whether a device has a sim or esim is irrelevant.

It will work fine. The US is the only country to get the physical SIM-less iPhone 14 line, every other iPhone in the world supports physical SIM cards.

Yes and some versions to come. If the iPhone has a physical sim, it will work with an iOS that supports it
