I just purchased a dev. account (nice of them to not let me know I have to wait for an email that may take 24 hours) . I have a Windows Machine running Windows 7 Ultimate, can I run iTunes Beta and iOS 5?

I'm pretty sure you cannot. iTunes 10.5 Beta is Mac only and that is required for iOS5 to activate.

Erm, they definitely DO let you know activation may take up to 24 hours. Maybe you just didnt read the pages that I referred you to.
You can definitely get iTunes 10.5 for Windows (refer here) so I suggest you just wait for your activation email and stop asking the same questions over and over again ;)

I would love to know the answer to this... will i have any issues if I'm already on a dev account, but have the same setup above -- windows 7 + iTunes 10.5 + iPhone 4?

I've not managed to get the Windows x86 (32-bit) version of iTunes 10.5 to work on either of two Windows machines I've installed it on - anyone else having issues? Seems to install OK, but nothing happens when I try to run it.

Think I've sorted it - needed to be installed within an Admin account. Installing it as an Admin from within a "normal" user account didn't seem to work. Glad to see the iTunes programmers really understand the basics of Windows accounts!
