Will iP4 microsim work in other phones?

So I'm a new iPhone buyer.

I was thinking that when I go out (bars etc) that I don't particularly want to take my iPhone with me because of the chance that I'll drop it, someone will spill drinks on it, I'll get nudged and drop it etc etc.

But I only have one contract/phone number/sim.

So, will the Micro sim that is in the iPhone 4 work if I take it out and put it in my old phone (Nokia 6500) which takes normal sims?

With an adaptor to make it the correct size, yes.
