People seem to think it will have a bigger hole in the case for the sound to come out, but that may not mean it's any different inside.

I doubt it because the iPhone nor the iPod Touch have improved speakers yet from the original. I always said the iPhone & iPad should have had 2 speakers.

If you look at some early cases... they have cut out a hole in the back and MOST think that it is going to be a better speaker...
thats really all anyone knows...
besides that fake Mock-up that they had at CES...you can see that on Gizmodo.
(if you can handle the new TERRIBLE site)

The first three iPhone speakers were terrible, especially the first-gen.
The iPad's speaker is pretty good as it is, although there's always room for improvement.

It currently has stereo speakers and anyone that has checked one out, or owns one knows it.
I'm hoping for much better speakers (I currently hang onto my Blackberry Bold 9000 for the quality of the speakers for a work phone ). Quality sounding music while surfing, or reading news is a must ! Can't wait to see what they offer, this would be a major reason besides processor and memory upgrades to get iPad II
