I am looking to get 15 . Currently they are available for 699$ (+29$ for unlocked version) on apple.com
Usually when a new phones launches, the prices of existing models will go down by 100$ on apple.com

But at the same time, they will remove the oldest model from the listing and currently iPhone 15 series are oldest models that are being sold on apple.com so does that mean 15 series wont be available once 17 series are out ?

Also the 14 Series were available when 16 Series were released last September but were removed when 16e is launched. So i am assuming 15 to be available on apple.com for 599$ but i am not sure on this.

P.S: I am getting this unlocked version from apple.com as i wanted this phone to be used in my home country so please dont suggest me to get this phone from a carrier deals/ Third Party Sellers. I wanted to get it from apple.com

I'm thinking that once the 17 is released, the 15 will only be available on Apple's refurbished store, where it is available now for US$619 unlocked, but you'd have to keep watching for the model you want to show up there.

Apple phones have very good resale value in my home country, all we need is a receipt of purchase(especially if its from apple )
if i get this iphone 15 now for around 650 USD (The same phone in our country will be around 800 USD ) , so even after 2 years of usage i can sell it for close to 400 + USD

Even my current iphone 12 pro max can be sold around 500$ USD , which i will do it in my next visit in oct, whereas if i sell it here in US i hardly get 280$

My guess is the Plus Model of the 15 is more likely than the 6.1 inch model but since the 14 models and SE got discontinued only several months after the 6.1 inch 13 did ( which is even more evidence that the 14 is so **** but the only thing that makes it useful is that it shares the same case as the 13 which in turn they’re cases are compatiable on any 16e)

I think even cases for the 15 should work for the 16e/14/13 too ( the only reason why iPhone 12 sucked because of case compatibility despite being the first iPhone to be redesigned this way)

Where are you from? Because in Poland for example iPhones don't have a very good resale value anymore, unless it's 2G or 4G or 5C for whatever reason.
Also iBook G3 can cost you like $2000. But yeah, Apple will remove the iPhone 15 in September.
