Will iPhone 4/4s/5 accept your iPod Touch 4 backup?

I apologize if this is covered somewhere on here and I missed it, but I am buying my first iPhone when the new one comes out, and up to this point I have been using an iPod Touch for all iOS related activity. If I backup my iPod's memory before selling it and sync up my new iPhone to my iTunes account, will I be able to load all prior contacts, photos, etc.?

Of course. Your songs, contacts, apps, and calendars will all transition across smoothly through iTunes.

Thanks Derk, I figured but just wanted to make sure....what about app 'memory,' like say photos on Camera+ that havent been added to my iOS photo roll?
