Will iphone 4 price go down once the new iphone comes out?

Hello,

Just curious if when the new iphone comes out (end of Sept/beginning of Oct?) if you think the price of the current iphone 4 will instantly go down. I really really really just want an iphone but I've been waiting for the new one to come out so I can get the current one cheaper. I've been waiting since March when my brother said it was predicted for June, then the dates were being pushed back and now people are saying October and I'm going crazy!

I will feel horrible though if in just one month the prices will go down.

So, just looking for some advice! Should I wait another month and a half or should I just go for it?

It's clearly never happened in the past that Apple sells a previous gen for less with lower capacity, so I can almost guarantee you that it won't happen this time. Oh wait....

$99 with contract which already happen here in canada! Some authorized post on CL for Free Iphone 4 with 3 years contract too!
