Will iPhone 5 AT&T phone work with ST if it's locked?

I bought an unlock on eBay last week, finally got the notification that it was "unlocked" today, but I've done the whole, back/restore twice now and never got the "Congratulations, your phone has been unlocked" message...

The reason I ask if it will still work with Straight Talk if it's locked is because I'm on Straight Talk, using APN settings from unlockit.co.nz and it's working fine, but if I try to do the TMobile SIM swap, it tells me the phone has to be activated...which leads me to believe it may not be unlocked...???

Any help is greatly appreciated...

If it's an AT&T iPhone(Locked), and you're using Straight Talks AT&T Sim, it will work.

If you're using an AT&T iPhone (locked), with Straight Talks T-Mobile Sim, it will not work.

it appears yours is still locked, get in touch w/ whoever unlocked it.
Also, the restore has to be as NEW for the msj to pop up, then use backup to get things back.

Ahhh, didn't realize that, I was just restoring putting everything back... I'll try that...
