As we all know, currently it is not that hard to get an at&t iphone unlocked. If you search on ebay there are services that do this for around $30 or so.

Does anyone think it will be just as easy to unlock the iphone 6? Or will at&t become stricter due to the popularity of these phones?

I am hoping that it will be easily unlockable as I travel overseas 2-3 times per year and would rather not rely on using a backup iphone on my travels.

Most likely the same as it is now.
I know vendors usually raise their unlock prices when the new iphone is first released but eventually they will fall down again.

Good to know thanks. My next trip out of the country is in November, so i can wait it out :)

I remember getting the unlock for $1 on my iphone 5 2 years ago
