Now that there has been a USB-C to Lightning Cable for a while,

Will the iPhone 7/Plus offer faster transfer speeds when connecting to a comparability Mac/PC with USB-C?

I certainly hope so of course, would be nice to have confirmation, USB 2.0 in 2016 would be terrible >.<
