Apparently Nokia is going to build another one of its own operating systems, and its called Meltemi, to replace the S40 one that was on feature phones. I know Apple might introduce an iPhone 4S to possibly be sold for cheaper in emerging markets. Do you think Nokia's new OS will beat it? Years ago before I met my wife (LOL) I worked as a missionary in Namibia :)cool:) and there is plenty need for budget phones there! Who will get there first do you think?

Not gonna happen. If people need a cheap phone, they will get a dumbphone or a cheap Android, if they need a smartphone, they will get an iPhone or Android (possibly WP7). Btw, I grew up in Namibia, and was there over xmas, The iPhone is there but Android is already taking over because of it's price.

Its quite possible - Nokia is a major phone manufacturer and was very popular in Europe.
