Will iPhoto 09 work on a PM G4 800?

I 've got a QS Power Mac G4 800 with 1.25GB ram and an Ati 7500 vid card.

Iphoto 08 works ok on this machine.

I was just wondering if anybody has installed iPhoto 09 on a similar machine?

The min requirements does state a G4 876mhz machine, but prob that's for the more cpu hungry apps like imovie. garageband...

any help is welcome

Don't Panic

I just upgraded to iPhoto '09 on my G4 2*1 GHz and I started having issues. When I go to Edit a photo and try to Adjust a setting the changes are not reflected in the picture. When I click Done and look at the thumbnails the "adjustment" is shown. I restarted iPhoto and same thing continued to happened. I turned off the facial recognition since it was chewing CPU cycles to no avail. I restarted it just now and adjustments are now working and the faces process is still chunking away.

Sorry for the long story but I was thisclose to uninstalling iPhoto '09.
