It's 2010, and there is still not even a 720p iSight built into Macbooks - or even an external one available for purchase. Screens have been widescreen on laptops and PCs for how long now? At least 5 years.:mad:

I'm sure it will happen someday, but I don't think many or any people on this forum know.

And if that's such a pain for you, buy 3rd party webcam or go buy a PC laptop.

any 3rd party HD webcams that work 100% with mac?

The Apple Stores sell a few. A few years ago I bought the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 USB 2.0 Webcam - 2MP.

HD Video Resolution
You'll be able to use the camera to capture video at 960 x 720 pixels. This resolution is comparable with many HD displays; the 30 fps HD video puts this webcam in a league of its own.

The resolution is FAR better than the iSight built into the Apple displays (so much so I stopped using it, it was too crisp for early morning video chats lol).

\/\/\/ WOW the Creative Labs webcam does 1280x720 at 30fps! That's impressive.

I have a Canon Rebel T1i that films in HD, can you hook that up to use as a webcam?
