Some have been getting new ones with it already installed and others have not. I think you have a good chance that 4.0.1 will already be on there.
My iPhone 4 32gb I got yesterday came with 4.0.1. I was bummed don't really caw for the look of the new bars.
Well it came with 4.0.1! But I have to go the AT&T store because the SIM card isn't working right. So I don't get to play with the phone part till tomorrow.
