Thinking of upgrading ram to at least 6 gb and getting an ssd when they are cheaper... will it void the warranty? I will of course be installing this myself.
 
Just be careful, follow a good guide, don't break anything, and keep the stock ram/hard drive somewhere safe. If you have to take it in for warranty work then just pop the stock RAM and HDD back in before you go. Once you are comfortable replacing these parts, the entire install shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Yeah if you are paranoid about it, do this. Especially if the cause for warranty is potentially a bad hard drive or RAM that you have installed 3rd party.
