Hi,
Before I spend and find out.. does anyone know if this should work, or will there be problems.

I’ve an M1 MBP with the 24” LG ultrafine 4k.
I’m thinking of getting an Apple studio display.

I think I should be able to connect the ASD directly to the Mac, and the LG via a 4k displaylink adaptor.

Has anyone tried similar? I’m planning on upgrading the Mac next year, so it only needs to be good enough ‘for now’.

Thanks very much,
Mikey

DisplayLink only works over HDMI/DVI/VGA, so you won't be able to use both the Ultrafine 4k and a Studio Display because there's no way to connect the Ultrafine to the Displaylink adapter.

That’s a good point, plenty of usb->hdmi adapters out there, but I’m not seeing any hdmi->usb.
