Will keyboard protectors work with hardcases?

More specifically, one that would work with the speck satin 13" macbook pro case.

Most keyboard protectors are simply just rubber sheets that are placed over the keys without any force and rely on gravity to hold them down. They will obviously work.

I know you haven't asked this, but while on the topic of hard cases, I found that my laptop + hard case did not fit inside the neoprene sleeve - and both were made by Incase. Beware!
