Will LCD from 1.5ghz powerbook fit on 1.67ghz???

I have a 1.67ghz powerbook and a 1.5ghz powerbook, neither of these machines have the high res co. The display on the 1.67 is toast (I know it's the display for sure.) I am wondering if I can take the one from the 1.5 and put it onto the 1.67.

My concern is that that 1.5 is a older than the 1.67 by about a year. That is to say the 1.5 is not from the 1.5/1.67 generation that was the last rev of powerbooks, rather the 1.33/1.5 generation.

Any ideas?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but I wouldn't take my word for it.

only thing that bothers me is the LVDS possibly being different.
