Will Live Translation come to AirPod Pro 2?

Is Live Translation only available to AirPod Pro 3? Will it come to Pro 1 and Pro 2?

This translation thingy could only come from an anglophone country, where relatively few people are bi or multi-lingual. Could be nice for travelling, but if folks really need to communicate with speakers of other languages, nothing can beat learning another language or two...... something English speakers seem reluctant to do, yet throughout the world among those for whom English is not their first language it is commonplace. In many parts it's the norm.

With iOS 26 beta 9 or RC, will it work w Airpod Pro 2, or do I need to wait for a firmware update for the the Airpods? Or is there already an Airpod update I need to find?

I am on the RC and no option to update my AirPods Pro 2 to the beta firmware. Anyone has had any luck with the RC release? (tried the whole removing, factory reset thing a couple of times too)
